Excessive sitting doesn’t do anything to boost your wellbeing. Luckily, experts say that combatting negative sedentary effects can be as simple as interrupting your day often and making frequent posture changes.
That’s where Buoy comes in. Pneumatic height adjustability gives you 5 inches of play, allowing you to sit comfortably at your desk. And with up to 12 degrees of tilt, core muscles fire up as you lean in and swivel, while legs work to keep you balanced, upright and focused on the task at hand. Perfect for quick tasks, Buoy will revolutionize the way you sit.
A unique riff on the stool with dozens of uses, Buoy embodies the spirit of turnstone. Smart, portable, colorful, fun, and slightly askew, Buoy stands at a slight 5 degree angle. Tilt even further — up to 12 degrees — to lean into your work. Change the seat height up to five inches with a quick lever pull. Travels well, works everywhere.

Buoy In Action
You can see the Bouy from Turnstone in action in the video below:
Jason: well designed, requires a small effort that is an easy transition has helped me correct/improve posture for my lower back troubles… recommended!
Christine: I use my ‘Buoy’ daily. It has taken the place of my exercise ball that I used as a chair, it provides plenty of movement and exercise. The “Buoy” causes you to sit with better posture. This is a great chair that all of our employees love and fight over. Design would fit perfectly with almost any decor and it’s very sturdy, clearly well made.
Sarah: We love this side chair! I am planning on purchasing more of these chairs soon!
Candace: love Love LOVE the buoy chair. I use it at the computer and am up and off it and back on it MANY times a day since I manage an online business. Each time I approach the computer to work I look fwd. to sitting on the Buoy. I really like it that much. I would recommend it without hesitation. Love my Buoy!
Patricia: I love my Buoy Chair. I roll it around all day and it helps my core and back feel stronger. I traded a Herman Miller Aeron chair for this, and I am way less stiff after sitting on the buoy all day. My only criticism is that is could have a softer top. The padding on top is kind of thin. The other thing that could be improved is to add a handle to the other side too. It is a little awkward to carry with just one handle.
And finally, a video testimonial!
